Brûleurs,

At the October meeting, it was decided that we should start planning 
now to hold a winter party, a sort of Decompression/Recompression, 
perhaps in February.

I note that the "Burnal Equinox" -- the calendar date equidistant 
between one Burn and the next -- will be 1st March 2008 (at 23:00 EST, 
to be exact).

This date happens to be a Saturday.

I propose that we book Sala Rosa for that date ASAP (assuming it's 
available), and start making serious plans. If we don't act now, that 
date will be snapped up by someone else.

We should also set a date and locale for a November meeting, at which 
we will discuss this  and other plans.

More immediately, I think we should hold a private party (or multiple 
parties) for the purposes of fund-raising for the Burnal Equinox event. 
First we'll have to find a venue -- preferably a loft  -- for the 
fund-raiser.
