That's fine; I have my own vehicle. I didn't see a problem with me 
trying to plan an additional trip at different times than Ed's car and 
inviting people to come along for the ride if they want to.

However, you are right about it becoming really complicated with the 
people not on the mailing list and so on.

What I propose is this: follow your earlier plan with Ed and go through 
with that. Ignore any disturbance caused by my intervention. I'll figure 
out extra details with Ed on my own; don't y'all worry about me, the 
worst that can happen is that you follow your earlier plans and run into 
me randomly in Toronto :)
