[Bruleurs] Reheat January

Lets face it. January is typically a brutally cold, lazy, quiet month. I 
mean what're you supposed to do after all that Turkey, traveling, 
gifting and the whole ruckus that is New Year's Eve! Its enough to drain 
even the mightiest of monsters (and men, and bunnies, and googly eyed 
space things). So we'll let you rest --- for a while.

This is your warning, and your invitation. At the ending of 
January/beginning of February the fire will be lit underneath your 
delectable behinds. We'll start the night off with a few BM 
documentaries and videos, move it up into music, a Brûleur talent show, 
dancing and, the long awaited return of... BOX FIGHTING!

All of this just to get you warmed up for the Burnal Equinox (halfway to 
the Burn baby!) a month later on March 1st.

So... what I need are vooooooooooolunteers. You know. That stuff you do 
to pad your resume and to meet strange and wonderful new people. What do 
I need? Glad you asked.

    * Setter uppers. Whether you're into decorating, setting up
      sound/video equipment or just picking up heavy objects and putting
      them down in different places we'll need you.
    * Cleaner uppers. Leave No Trace right? As Burners we're good at
      this, not only that but we make it fun!
    * Entertainment. Whether you slice vinyl together with aplomb, tell
      jokes that make hookers blush or turn a mean trapeze you're
      welcome to become part of the color.
    * ARTifacts. Want to build some art? Do it. Bring it. We can take it!
    * Door folk, bar folk, party rangers & all that jazz. Not sure if
      we'll need much of this but I'll ask now and figure it out later.
      We'll call it spontaneity.
    * All the stuff I missed. Working the phones, getting me coffee,
      stalling Revenue Canada - I'm sure I missed stuff. Maybe you know
      what it is. Raise your hand.

Date and venue are tentative. I *think* I've got them, but until they're 
firmly nailed and super glued down to the floor I'm not going to tip my hat.

This is a Burner/Brûleur event and that includes all those delicious, 
naive, ready to be corrupted virgins that're lurking out there. You know 
who you are. Come on out and get a taste.

P.S.: Its easy to get the winter blues with all the shoveling endless 
snowdrifts in the dark, cold night. Anytime anyone wants to go ice 
skating, build snow forts or attempt to reach terminal velocity on a 
toboggan - give me a call! Especially if you've got a Brûleur twist to 
it. I'll bring the hot chocolate, with my special anti-freeze additive. ;)
